If you cancel your order before we have confirmed scope and assigned a specialist, you are entitled to a full refund. To cancel, email hello@translatedcontent.com with your order reference. Refunds are processed within 5–10 business days to the original payment method.
If you cancel after scope has been confirmed but before translation has begun, you are entitled to a 75% refund. The 25% retained covers specialist assignment, terminology preparation, and project administration already completed.
Once translation work has begun, refunds are not available for work already completed. If you cancel mid-project, we will refund the value of any work not yet started, assessed proportionally against the agreed scope. We will provide a statement of work completed at the time of cancellation.
If you believe a delivered translation contains errors attributable to us, contact us within 14 days of delivery. We will review and, where errors are confirmed, provide corrections at no additional charge. Our revision process resolves the majority of quality issues. In cases where we determine that fundamental rework is required and this is entirely attributable to our error, we will offer a partial or full refund at our discretion. We do not offer refunds for subjective stylistic preferences that were not specified in the original brief.
Sworn translations involve court registration and statutory processes. If a sworn translation is rejected by the receiving authority for reasons attributable to our error, we will redo the sworn declaration at no additional charge. We do not refund the statutory fees paid to the court.
Rush delivery add-ons are non-refundable once work has been prioritised. Terminology database and certified copy add-ons are non-refundable once produced. Proofreading add-ons are refundable only if the proofreading has not yet begun.
