These Terms govern all services provided by Translated Content di Romano Lucia (“we”, “us”, “the Agency”) to the client (“you”) via translatedcontent.com. By placing an order you agree to these Terms in full.
We provide translation and language services including document translation, legal and notarial translation, e-commerce localisation, audiovisual translation, academic and research translation, and sworn and certified translation. All services are delivered digitally. No physical delivery is implied or offered unless separately agreed in writing.
Package prices shown on the site are starting prices. The final price for your project is confirmed in writing before work begins. Scope is agreed at the time of order confirmation. Additional content submitted after scope confirmation will be quoted separately. Work does not begin until scope and price are both confirmed.
Payment is required in full before work begins, processed via Stripe. We accept major credit and debit cards. Stripe charges a processing fee which is absorbed by us and not added to your invoice. All prices exclude Italian IVA (22%). EU business clients with a valid VAT number may apply the reverse charge mechanism; contact us before payment to arrange this.
Delivery timelines are confirmed at the time of order confirmation and depend on service type, word count, language pair, and add-ons selected. Typical timelines are: Document Translation 2–4 business days; Legal & Notarial 3–6 business days; E-Commerce Localisation 5–8 business days; Audiovisual Translation 3–5 business days; Academic Translation 4–7 business days; Sworn & Certified 5–10 business days. Rush delivery is available as a paid add-on.
Two rounds of revision are included in all standard packages. Revisions are limited to corrections of translation errors, omissions, or deviations from the agreed brief. Revisions that change the original source text, expand scope, or reflect changes in your requirements after delivery are quoted separately.
Upon receipt of full payment, all rights to the translated text vest in you. We retain the right to use anonymised project data for internal quality improvement. We do not retain rights to publish your translated content. Translator sub-contractors are engaged under terms that transfer all rights to us, which are then passed to you.
We treat all client materials as confidential. Translator sub-contractors sign project-specific NDAs before receiving any client documents. Project files are deleted within 12 months of delivery unless longer retention is agreed.
Our liability is limited to the amount paid for the specific project in dispute. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or incidental losses. We are not liable for losses resulting from errors in source documents provided by you, from your use of a translation in contexts not agreed in the brief, or from third-party decisions.
These Terms are governed by Italian law. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Tribunale di Napoli, Italy, except where mandatory consumer protection rules in your jurisdiction apply.
